This beautiful monument was built by mughal empresses Noorjahan (the wife of Jahangir) in the commemoration of his father Mirza Ghiyas Beg. Fatehpur Sikri : Basically Fatehpur Sikri is an ancient city located on located in Agra District, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was constructed by great Mughal Emperor Akbar as his capital. But unfortunately it was abandoned due to scarcity of drinking water. The Palace and the Mosque are the attractions of Fatehpur Sikri.
