It was built by mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the loving remembrance of his most beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Described as the “Symbol of Love”, the Taj Mahal deserves the attention of tourists and travelers from all over the world. It is a very popular among honeymooners and lovers. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and considered as one of Seven Wonders of the World. The beauty of Taj Mahal is unmatched.
Agra Fort : Also known as Red Fort, Agra Fort is also a worth visit attractions of Agra City tours. Built in red sandstone and marbles, the fort is architecturally beautiful. It was built by mughal emperor Akbar. It is another World Heritage Site in the city. It is one of the most important forts in situated in India. It is the place where great mughal emperors Babur, Humayun, Akbar, Jahangir, Shah Jahan and Aurangzeb lived. Itmad-Ud-Daullah : It is a beautiful mughal mausoleum situated in Agra, India. It is often described as the “Jewel Box”. It is also described as the “Baby Taj” or “Little Taj” or “a Draft of Taj Mahal”. It is architecturally beautiful, and its interiors are considered as more beautiful than of beautiful mausoleum love monument Taj Mahal. Located on the banks of Yamuna River the monument appeals tourists from all over the world. The walls of this beautiful monument are built in white marble and interiors are decorated with semi-precious stones. This beautiful monument was built by mughal empresses Noorjahan (the wife of Jahangir) in the commemoration of his father Mirza Ghiyas Beg. Mirza Ghiyas Beg was the grand father of Mumtaz Mahal, the wife of Shah Jahan.
Fatehpur Sikri : Basically Fatehpur Sikri is an ancient city located on located in Agra District, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was constructed by great Mughal Emperor Akbar as his capital. But unfortunately it was abandoned due to scarcity of drinking water. The Palace and the Mosque are the attractions of Fatehpur Sikri. Notable buildings in Fatehpur Sikri are Buland Darwaza, Anup Talao, Diwan-e-Am, Diwan-e-Khas, Jama Masjid, Panch Mahal, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Drum House, Pachisi Court, Birbal’s House, Hujra-i-Anup Talao, Mariam-uz-Zamani's Palace, Sunahra Maken, etc.
